Indications
- Uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria
- Mixed infections including P. falciparum
- Adults and children from 5kg body weight
Dosage
A six-dose course taken over three days, with the second dose eight hours after the first. Take with food or a milky drink to help absorption. Dosing is by body weight — confirm the band on the pack insert before dispensing.
Storage & handling
Store below 30°C in the original blister, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
Common questions
Can it be given in pregnancy?
Not in the first trimester. Refer to the prescriber.
Is a follow-up test needed?
Yes — confirm parasite clearance if fever persists after 72 hours.
